Wild Wonders

Are you an animal lover? Then this is the camp week for you. Activities, games and crafts will all feature the animal kingdom—especially those creatures who make their homes here in Utah.

Blue Hummingbird
June 27-July 1

Feathered Friends

They soar, sing, hunt, and glide. From tiny hummingbirds to magnificent owls campers will love learning all about birds! Campers will become honorary ornithologists (bird scientists) for a week and learn what it means to be a bird.

July 18-22

Creepy Crawlies

Worms, spiders, slugs, snails and centipedes oh my! Turn over logs, and dig in the dirt in search of many wiggling, slithering, sliding, and hopping invertebrates. We will examine the ground to discover what these creatures eat, where they hide, and how they escape hungry predators.

June 13-17

Fairies & Flying Friends

Campers discover the secret lives of fairies and flying wild creatures. They’ll pretend to be birds, bugs, and butterflies. They will meet live birds, build fairy houses and bird’s nests.

Muddy Stream
July 5-8

Ooey Gooey

Do you love ooey-gooey nature and science?  Explore the wonders of sticky mud, messy nature, and slimy experiments!  We’ll have fun exploring and crafting chemistry concoctions!

Bird Portrait

We Can Wing It

Why doesn’t a woodpecker get a concussion? How can a falcon fly so fast? Could a hawk see an ant from the top of a 10-story building? Hone your “owl eyes” to find a new feathered friend during this week-long, winged adventure and find out what the birds might be telling us about the natural world!

*No class on July 25

Garden Hose Sprinkler

Wonderful Watery World

The heat is on, and so are our refreshing water week activities as summer heats up. Campers will be playing with water and learning the different ways water is a crucial part of our natural world. Come prepared to get wet every day this week!

Bee on a Daisy
July 11-15

Bees & Blooms

Dive into the world of flowers and their frequent visitor, the bee. Campers will get a closer look at flowers and pollen as we dissect them and press them as keepsakes. Then we’ll look at bees and participate in bee inspired games and pollen inspired crafts.

Holding a Frog
Aug 1-5

Scales & Slime

Snakes, turtles, salamanders, frogs, and toads!!!  Join us as we learn all about our amphibian friends.  We will meet reptiles and learn about their unique adaptations that enable them to survive.
