Wacky Weather

Have you ever wondered where wind, rain or lighting come from? Then you will love this week. Activities, games and crafts will all feature the amazing weather we experience each day.

Blue Hummingbird
July 6-9

Forest Folklore

They soar, sing, hunt, and glide. From tiny hummingbirds to magnificent owls campers will love learning all about birds! Campers will become honorary ornithologists (bird scientists) for a week and learn what it means to be a bird.

Land and Sea

From the desert to the arctic, grasslands to the ocean we will learn about the differences of our world.  Children will learn about different animals, create their own grasslands and participate in experments all week long!

June 21-25

Interesting Insects

Campers discover the secret lives of tiny creatures. They’ll pretend to be ants bugs, and butterflies. They will build an ant tunnel, search for insects living in the outdoor classroom and learn to appreciate how insects help us.

Ooey Gooey

Do you love ooey-gooey nature and science?  Explore the wonders of sticky mud, messy nature, and slimy experiments!  From the kitchen to the forest to the pond, we’ll have fun exploring and crafting chemistry concoctions!

Nocturnal Ninjas

Bats, owls, wolves... oh my!  We will be learning all about the animals and creatures that wake up at night time.  Dress up, investigation, crafts and more will have students very excited about natures night life!

Wonderful Water

The heat is on, and so are our refreshing water week activities as summer heats up. Campers will be playing with water and learning the different ways water is a crucial part of our natural world. Come prepared to get wet every day this week!

July 19-22

Bees & Blooms

 Dive into the world of flowers and their frequent visitor, the bee. Campers will get a closer look at flowers and pollen as we dissect them and press them as keepsakes. Then we’ll look at bees and participate in bee inspired games and pollen inspired crafts.

Aug 9-13

Flowers and Fruit

The peak of summer has our garden blooming with flowers and fruit galore! Students will learn about how plants provide food and beauty for our lives.  They will be a part of caring and harvesting in the garden, creating beauty with flowers and even making fruit pies for our chickens!

Painting trees, tree inspired yoga, caring for trees...  This week is all about enjoying and learning how trees help us and how we help trees!​
